ABOUT

I am a Brooklyn-based abstract artist. My work explores line, color and shape through techniques of painting, drawing and collage.

 

My paintings are a textural mash-up of layered organic forms, expressive mark-making and unexpected overlays of color. I paint using palette knives, brushes, oil and oil sticks. I work in an intuitive process, repeatedly layering colors, shapes and lines. As the work develops it's both hard to let go of certain areas yet exciting to see what happens next.

 

After a career working in tech as a designer for digital products, I'm now looking forward to dedicating my time to making art.
